KBC Plumbing and Pipe Relining was founded in 2009 by Kade Bell-Chambers with a simple but powerful observation: the Albury-Wodonga region was being underserved. Other operators were doing one or two things well. Plumbing and domestic relining. Combo trucks and cameras. But nobody had stepped up, brought the full capability under one roof, and committed to delivering it at the standard this region deserves.
Albury-Wodonga isn't a small regional town. It's a growing city with councils, water authorities, hospitals, defence facilities and major infrastructure projects that demand a contractor capable of handling the full scope of the challenge. Kade saw that gap clearly, and built KBC to fill it.
Fifteen staff, three specialist divisions and over a decade of complex plumbing & infrastructure work later, that founding conviction hasn't changed. KBC exists to prove that you don't have to go to a capital city to get world-class plumbing & infrastructure services.
Every organisation we work with, councils, water authorities, aged care facilities, defence, hospitals, has one thing in common. They can't afford to get it wrong. Infrastructure failures aren't just expensive. They're disruptive, they're embarrassing, and in some cases they're dangerous.
That's why KBC operates the way we do. Whether we're managing a preventative plumbing maintenance programs, rehabilitating a failing sewer main, carrying out industrial service projects with our combo trucks or conducting a full pipeline condition assessment, we assess thoroughly, scope accurately and stand behind every job we complete. No shortcuts, no passing the problem down the road, no hiding behind "outside of scope." When KBC is on your project, we take full responsibility for the outcome.
Behind every KBC job is a team that has been deliberately built for the environments we work in. From working at heights, confined space entry and non-destructive vacuum excavation to robotic cutting and advanced UV pipe relining, our people hold the qualifications, the tickets and the hands-on experience that complex infrastructure demands.
Every team member maintains current first aid, confined space and working at heights certifications. All safety documentation is managed through our cloud-based WORX platform. Because at the end of the day, everyone goes home.
